Jeremy Alan Spears, 47, of Bethalto, IL, passed away Tues. Oct. 24, 2023 in Bethalto.

He was born June 28, 1976, in Alton, IL to Gary Alan Spears of Bethalto and the late Mary Margaret (Cantrell) Spears.

Jeremy was a U.S. Navy veteran. Following his military service, he worked as a carpenter with Local #664. He loved NASCAR.

In addition to his father, he is survived by 3 children: Kara Spears of East Alton, IL, Trenton Spears of Wood River, IL and Kayla Spears of North Carolina; a grandson: Cam Arnold; and a sister: Lindsay Greenlee of Prairieville, LA.
