Jennie L. Vetter, 93, of Kampsville, IL passed away on November 7, 2024, Jerseyville Manor.
She was born on February 14, 1931, to the late Albert and Katie (Foster) Dirksmeyer. She married Adam (Bud) Vetter on April 24, 1954, who preceded her in death.
Jennie served as secretary/treasurer at Summit Grove Church for several years. She was also an auxillary member of Kampsville #1083.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Darlene (Harold) Fox, Paulene (Cecil) Jones, Bernadine (Basil) Becker, Marie (Lynne) Lyman, and Bettie (Gene) Reeves; and one brother, Donald (Garnell) Dirksmeyer.
She was a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Many of whom looked forward to her cooking at family gatherings, especially her noodles and desserts. She will be missed.
A visitation will take place on Thursday November 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Gress, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Hardin, IL.
Burial will follow at Summit Grove Cemetery in Kampsville, IL.
