Jeanne Vaniter

Jeanne Marie Vaniter, 78, of Gillespie, IL, died at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 10:15 pm.  She was born July 7, 1946 to Walter John Theobald & Imogene Virginia Freer Theobald.  She was a caregiver.  She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and Wings of Hope. 

Jeanne was a devout member of Cornerstone Ministries.  Jeanne loved the local and state police departments.  She is survived by her children, Damon (Sandy) Claussen of Corning, IA, Kerry (Collette) Claussen of Gillespie, IL, Dawn (John) McDaniel of Gillespie, IL, grandchildren, Austin, Michelle, Michael, Emma, Wylde, Jonah, Izabella, Braeden, great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Carter, Sofia, Charlotte.  Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Walter John Theobald.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Cornerstone Ministries in Benld, IL.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 3:00 pm at the Cornerstone Ministries in Benld, IL.
