Janice Elaine Weishaupt, 81, of Staunton, IL, died at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center, Gillespie, IL on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 1:09 am.
She was born December 28, 1944, in Woodbury, NJ to William Warren Clevenger & Hazel Marie Simpson Clevenger. She married Donald A. Weishaupt on August 14, 1965 in Edwardsville, IL.
Janice was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Bunker Hill. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and especially enjoyed day lilies.
Janice is survived by her spouse, Donald Weishaupt of Staunton, IL, children, Todd of Bunker Hill, IL, Corey of Dorchester, IL, Chris of Alton, IL, grandchildren, Cole, Ian, Jennifer, great-grandchildren, Oakley, Salem, Zane and brother, Donald (Shirley) Clevenger of Stratford, CT.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Zion Lutheran Church in Bunker Hill from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral services are Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Bunker Hill.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children or Zion Lutheran Church of Bunker Hill.
