Janice King, 57, of Alton, passed away on October 11, 2023, at DePaul Hospital.
She was born on June 4, 1966 to Harold "Tony" and Delores (Taul) King at Alton Memorial Hospital.
With her giving heart, she volunteered at Alton Memorial Hospital for many years. Janice loved to crochet and loved to gift others afghans and dish rags when she could. She also enjoyed watching TV and playing computer games.
Janice is survived by her mother, Dolores King of Godfrey; nephews, Tyler King and Kiefer King; and special cousin, Melanie McGowen.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tony King; and brother, Curt King.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will take place in the Godfrey Crematory and professional services will be handled by Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
