James Wickett

James J. Wickett, age 67, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, May 9, 1958, in St. Mary’s, PA, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at his home in Belleville, IL.

James retired from the United States Air Force where he served as an I.T. Specialist. Following his years after service, he went to work in the private sector doing what he loved working in IT. In his free time he loved being with his dogs, tinkering around the house, and working on his computer.

He was preceded in death by his:

• Parents, Clarence and Mary Jane, nee Brendel, Wickett
• Brother, John Wickett

Surviving are his:

• Wife, Lucy, nee Duska, Wickett of Belleville, IL
• Daughter, Amy (Chris) Carlino of Mount Vernon, IL
• Grandchildren:

• Sisters, Joan and Jane
