James L. Bradshaw, 97, of O’Fallon, IL, born on June 30, 1928, in O’Fallon, IL passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Memorial Hospital Shiloh in Shiloh, IL.
James was an honorably discharged Army Veteran of the Korean War; he enjoyed woodworking and carving in his free time throughout the years. When he wasn’t doing that, he was spending time in his backyard and outdoors.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Viva Bradshaw (nee Abel); five siblings, Richard Bradshaw, John Bradshaw, Joseph Bradshaw, Annette Bradshaw, Annamae Houtz; and son-in-law, C.L. Bateman.
Left to cherish James’s memory is his loving wife, Frances Bradshaw (nee Mueller); three daughters, Deanna (Jamil Hashimi) Bradshaw, JoAnn Rivera Bateman, Susan (Daniel Barton) Bradshaw; grandson, Nick Rivera; sister, Adeline Shearer; and many nieces and nephews.
