Jacquelin “Jackie” Cox, 71, died at 12:26 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born January 7, 1954 in Alton, the daughter of the late Edward and Pauline (Lodge) Cox.
She worked for many years as a registered nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis and at OSA St. Anthony’s in Alton. Surviving are her loving friends, Karen Starbuck of St. Charles, MO, Donna Thiel of Godfrey, Debbie Kelly of Brighton, Joan Brooks of Alton, Elaine Pfleger of Alton, Jacquie Wahle of Alton and Cindy Bowers of Alton. Services will be private with burial at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. Reverend Sonny Renken will officiate. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
