Jack Charles Wilson, 90, of Gillespie, IL, died at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center, Gillespie, IL on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 11:54 p.m.
He was born October 16, 1934, in Gillespie, IL to John Wilson & Margaret Hollis Wilson Taylor. He married Elfrieda (Johnson) Wilson on October 22, 1955 in Gillespie, IL.
He was a machinist for Olin Corp. Jack enjoyed going to church affiliations and being with family.
He is survived by his spouse, Elfrieda Wilson of Gillespie, IL, children, Loretta (Steve) Sarti of Gillespie, IL, Craig (Diane) Wilson of Litchfield, IL, grandchildren, Jeremy (Shannon) Sarti, Joseph (Angie) Sarti, Jackson Wilson, Cooper (Katie) Wilson, great-grandchildren, Rylee Sarti, Hunter Sarti, Cheyenne Sarti, sisters, Judy Cunningham of Godfrey, IL, Sandy Szkutnik of Springfield, IL, several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, step father, James Taylor, brothers, Andrew Wilson, James "Jeep" Taylor.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church, Litchfield from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Funeral services are Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Litchfield. Burial will be at Gillespie Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church of Litchfield, or Zion Lutheran School of Litchfield.
