Ivy Marcia Warren, 73, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 11:35 a.m. Mon. Dec. 15, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family while under hospice care.
She was born May 13, 1952 in Granite City to the late Robert and Ivy (Partridge) Cooper.
Her marriage to Larry Dale Warren Sr. took place Oct. 29, 1971 in Madison, IL. He survives.
Marcia worked as a secretary for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Granite City and later for Davita Dialysis Center in Sauget, IL, retiring after 35 years of service.
She loved life and her family. She enjoyed shopping and yard sales. She could always be found dancing and singing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Larry Dale (Monica) Warren Jr. of Troy, IL, and Timothy (Lisa) Warren of High Ridge, MO, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a sister, Patty (Gary) Whitworth of Wilsonville, IL, and 3 brothers, Robert Cooper of Channel View, TX, Johnny Cooper, and Billy “Tiny” Cooper, both of Benld, IL.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at 6:00 p.m. Fri. Dec. 19, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory with Tim Warren officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
