Gwendolyn A. Kemp, age 79 of Collinsville, IL, born January 10, 1943, in La Crosse, WI, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at her residence surrounded by family.
Gwen was a retired court reporter for the State of Missouri. She also worked as a church secretary, volunteered at Good Shepherd Lutheran Child Care Center, and was a member of Blessed Savior Lutheran Church in O’Fallon, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter H. and Amy I. (nee Rundahl) Runge.
She is survived by her loving husband, Silas W. Kemp, Jr., whom she married February 26, 1966; a son, Paul Kemp of England; a daughter, Amy (Jason) Ohlson of Littleton, CO; and two grandchildren, Blake and Spencer.
Memorial visitation will be 3 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Blessed Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 N Lincoln Ave, O'Fallon, IL.
A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Vern Lintvedt officiating.
