Gary Lavite

Gary Andrew Lavite, 63, died at 5:00 a.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023 in Alton.  Born December 29, 1959 in Marion, IL, he was the son of Sue A. (Heltsley) Eisenman of Wood River and the late Salvatori Lavite.  Gary worked for Union Local #338.  Along with his mother he is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Castro of California, and two brothers, Mike Lavite of Roxana and Dan Lavite of Alton.  Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Lavite.  There will be no services.  Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com.
