Gary Matthew Burch, 53, of Godfrey, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born on January 25, 1971, in Carrollton, IL, the son of the late Donald and Mary (Welch) Burch.
Gary was a warehouse manager and enjoyed spending time with his friends.
He is survived by three brothers, John (Sandie) Burch of Brighton, IL, Donnie (Sarah) Burch of Plainview, IL, and Terry Burch of Brighton, IL; several nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mary Burch; nephew Shawn Burch.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton, IL.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at St. Denis Cemetery in Shipman, IL. A gathering will be held following the service at Pete’s Lounge in Godfrey.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
