Faith Parrish

Granite City | Save

With hearts full of love and gratitude for her life, we remember Faith Jewel Parrish, 77, of Granite City, IL, who peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family.

Born on June 16, 1948, to Dr. Alfred Edward Everett and Jewel Wanda (Hand) Everett, Faith grew up in Granite City with a boundless spirit and a heart as open as the sky. From an early age, she radiated kindness and carried an unshakable belief in the beauty of people and the world around her.

Faith never met a stranger—only friends she had yet to know. Her laughter was warm and contagious, her hugs a safe haven, and her helping hands always extended without hesitation. She was a woman who embraced life with joy and poured love into every relationship she held dear.

An exceptionally gifted artist, Faith earned her master’s degree in art and brought beauty into the world through painting, drawing, and pottery. Every creation she made reflected her vibrant soul and inspired those who saw her work.

Her proudest role, however, was that of mother and grandmother. She was the devoted mom to Tammie (Timothy) Parrish-Miller and Pamela (Eric Littiken) Parrish-Miller, both of Granite City, IL, and the adoring “Grandma Faith” to Taylor Wohlin, Samantha Wohlin, and Autumn Wohlin. She cherished each of them beyond measure, weaving love into their lives.

Faith is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Edward Everett.

She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and laughter in the hearts of her family, her extended family, and countless dear friends.

In keeping with her wishes, Faith will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. Her memory will be honored in the everyday acts of kindness and joy that she so effortlessly modeled.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Granite City A.P.A.
