Eula Lee Sisco, 82, died at 5:49 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 10, 1943 in Neelyville, MO., the daughter of the late Uel and Dona Lee (Dillingham) Sisco. Eula graduated in 1961 for Southwestern High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She worked as an operator for Illinois Bell and also as a switchboard operator for Christian Hospital NE before retiring in 2017. In September of 1963 in Alton, she married Thomas O’ Hair and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Dona Burnett (James) of Fieldon, Daina O’Hair (Dana Plunkett) of Nutwood, two sons, Michael O’Hair of Inverness, FL and Mathew O’Hair (Heather Meyer) of Inverness, FL, four grandchildren, Erin Goble (Sam), Tiffany White, Isabella O’Hair and Maxton O’Hair, great grandchildren, Skylar, Ian, Dominick, Hannah O’Hair, Brody, Chase and LeeAnn White, one brother, Uel Ray Sisco (Kathy Parkman) of Alabama, one sister, Dorothy May Sisco-Crone of Godfrey and one half-sister, Tina Marie Sisco of CA. Nieces and nephews, Kris, Darrin and Jennie.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Cory O’Hair, one nephew, Danuel Sisco and brother in law, Roger Crone.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be held at Brighton Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Lions Club.
