Edward Buhs

Edward “Eddie” Cassell Buhs, III, 60, of Fairview Heights, IL, born March 9, 1965, in Belleville, IL, died Saturday, January 31, 2026, at his residence.

Eddie was previously employed at the Arrow Company and the Dandy Inn. He later ended his career as a sales representative for Ecolab. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed boating, drag racing, hunting, and working in his garden. Eddie, a true gearhead, was always working on motors and had the ability to fix anything.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his mother-in-law, Sharon Krieg.

Surviving are his loving wife, Dana, nee Kreig, Buhs; two daughters, Brittney Buhs (Andrew Brush) and Kayla Buhs (Peter Buchanan); two grandchildren, Luke Buchanan and Lane Brush; his parents, Edward Cassell, Jr, and Joan, nee Reiss, Buhs; his brother and sister, Bill (Michelle Neff) Buhs and Misty (Clifford) Parker; his father-in-law, Don Krieg; a brother-in-law, Brad (Michelle) Krieg; four nieces and nephews, Cassidy Neff, Hunter (Harbor) Lovin, Nolan Parker, and Allison Krieg; and many dear friends.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery, at a later date.
