Dolores Camille Owens, 91, died at 11:46 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2015 at St. John’s Mercy in St. Louis, MO. Born December 17, 1923 she was the daughter of Arthur and Martha (Villing) Eckhouse. She was the proprietor of Norside Café for 20 years retiring in 1990 and enjoyed playing poker. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Alton. In 1965 she married Paul Owens. He preceded her in death in June 2001. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia “Cindy” Louise and Bradley Jacobs of Godfrey, four grandchildren, Roger Malloy Jr. of Godfrey, Chad Malloy of Surprise, AZ, Josh Malloy and Melissa Fielding both of Godfrey, 10 great grandchildren, Katrina, Dominic, Zachary, Taylor, Hannah, Kayley, Logan, Chloe, and Morgan Malloy and Grace Wimberly. Also surviving are two sisters, Anita Forbes of Godfrey and Martha McPeak of Wood River. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers Charles and Norbert Eckhouse and one sister, Charlene Smith.
