Dennis J. Yarbrough, 69, of Granite City, IL, passed away Tues. Dec. 12, 2023 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, MO.
He was born May 31, 1954 in Granite City, a son of the late Ruth (Brown) Yarbrough-Wilcox and Raymond Yarbrough.
Dennis had been a welder at American Steel, retiring after more than 30 years of service.
He is survived by a son: Matthew (Alicia) Yarbrough of KS; 2 grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Mary (Mark) Breeden and Anne Griffin of Granite City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father: Charles Wilcox; a brother: Bill Yarbrough; and 4 sisters: Janice Yarbrough, Shirley Beavin, Gloria Jean Sexton and Patricia Bucks.
