Delores “Fay” Geisen, 86, died at 2:27 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at St. Louis University Hospital. She was born February 24, 1940 in Evangeline, LA the daughter of the late Harry Preston and Matildria (Rutledge) Perry.
On June 2, 1979 in Carlinville, IL she married Robert “Bob” Geisen and he survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Charlotte (John) Soileau of Lake Charles, LA, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three daughters, Debra Ann Lewey, Catherine Greenlee, Joella Kibodeaux and one grandson, Joshua Bertrand.
A memorial visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the 5A’s Animal Shelter.
