David L. Oertel, 62, passed away 7:35 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Alton on July 14, 1954, he was the son of Henry and Irene (Carl) Oertel.
He was a warehouse man for Economy Boat Store over 35 years.
Surviving is his brother, Alan Oertel of Rosewood Heights.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Friday at Marks Mortuary.
Private burial will be Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
