David R. Hardin, 73, of Shiloh, IL, was born November 29, 1951, in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marie, nee Obermoeller, Hardin; and an aunt, Ethel Obermoeller.
He is survived by is wife, Diane M. Hardin, nee Liske, whom he married on October 16, 1976; a daughter, Sarah (Ryan Henke) Hardin; a son, David Jr. (Elaine) Hardin; and a grandson, Liam D. Hardin.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.
According to David’s wishes, cremation services were held.
