David Lee Guntren, 62, of Brighton, IL, passed away unexpectedly at 3:05 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, at his home.
He was born on June 6, 1962, in Jerseyville, IL, to the late Joyce Lawson and Frank Guntren.
David was a machinist at Owens Illinois Glassworks and other companies. He served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his son Danny (Candace) Perdun of Warren, OH; granddaughter Ayla Perdun; brothers John (Susan) Guntren, Gordon Guntren, and Jeffrey (Hope) Guntren; sister Susan (Breion) Crone; several nieces and nephews; step son Cody Price.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded and entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton, IL.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL.
