David Fellner

David Allen Fellner, Sr., 67, of Belleville, IL, born February 28, 1958, in Belleville, IL, died Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

David was a United States Marine Corps veteran and later worked as a sheet metal fabricator at Boeing. He was an excellent musician and was a drummer for multiple bands. He also enjoyed attending open mic nights. David was an avid outdoorsman who took great pride in working in his yard and going camping and kayaking. He was a man with a continuous smile and a fierce love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 21 years, Angela Fellner, nee Jennings; and his father, Joseph G. Fellner.

Surviving are his son, David Fellner, Jr.; two grandchildren, Caleb Fellner and Aiden Fellner; his mother, Martha Jean, nee Christ, Fellner; seven brothers and sisters, Carolyn (Bob) Dixon, Cathy Ellerbrock, Lynn Lehr, Danny Fellner, Rick (Cheri) Fellner, Steven Fellner, and Jeffrey (Heidi) Fellner; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Burial: A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:40 a.m. for a burial with military honors at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
