Dale Caesar

Dale Omar Caesar, 81, of Lenzburg, IL, born October 9, 1942, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, October 7, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Dale had worked as a driver for 25 years for UPS and worked another ten years for the St. Clair Farm Service. Dale loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Julius and Ruth Fern, nee Bechtel, Caesar; and a grandson, Aaron.

Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Peggy Ann Caesar, nee Schubert, whom he married on September 8, 1962; three children, Sherry (Robert) Craig, Linette (Craig) Richardson, and Scott (Nancy) Caesar; ten grandchildren, Sara (Josh), Kristine, Brooke, Jessica, Jacob, Andrew, Brendan, Matthew, Caleb, Vivian, Isabella, and Isiah; 14 great-grandchildren, Grace, Olivia, Ezra, August, Drake, Lorelei, Gavin, Alex, Nova, Ellie, Corbin, Lydia, Ira, and Aiden; his cousin, Dean (Shirley) Hemmer; and many in laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Burial will be held at a later date.
