Cong Tran

Cong A. Tran, 90, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Evercare at Stearns in Granite City. He was born in Vietnam on June 12, 1935.

Cong enjoyed gardening and carpentry work. He cherished his family and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Kiu M. Giet. He is survived by six children; many grandchildren; one great grandchild and other extended family.

In celebration of his life, visitation and services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville.
