Christopher M. Spears, 40, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at his home.

Born July 1, 1985 in Jerseyville, he was a son of Eddie Lee Spears and Kathleen (Johnessee) Travis.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kathleen and Brad Travis of Rosewood Heights; a daughter, Rylan Schneider; a stepbrother, Tanner (Jessica) Travis of Alton; a stepsister, Tess (Chad) Klunk of Alton and a niece, Destiny Spears of Rosewood Heights.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Ryan Spears.
