Dateline: Moro, IL Charlotte J. Hasquin, age 62, passed away at 7:58 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville with her family by her side. She was born on July 18, 1953 in Alton, IL, the daughter of Robert & Lilly (Broer) Davis. She was married to Dave Hasquin on May 24, 1996 at the Rose Garden at Gordon Moore Park. He passed away on May 7, 2008. Charlotte worked as a travel agent for Gwin’s Travel in Bethalto for 30 years. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto and a past member of the Bethalto Ladies K of C Aux. Charlotte loved to spend time in her yard, socialize at the former K of C Hall in Bethalto and now at the Moose Lodge in Wood River. She enjoyed having wine parties with her friends and most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-law, Deanna & Todd Walter of Troy, IL; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Clark and Brittany Howton of Arnold, MO, Brad & Lori Hasquin of Marine, IL and Jason & Brooke Hasquin of Edwardsville; 6 grandchildren, Madeline, Benjamin, Brady, Ethan, Brody and Hadley and her aunt, Alma Smith of Godfrey. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Darrell Davis. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, with Father Tom Liebler officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
