BETHALTO - Carolyn "Kay" Armstrong (Nana), 79, of Bethalto passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, on July 26, 1944, the daughter of Paul and Mildred (Berrong) Rievley. She married John F. Armstrong in Godfrey, on March 3, 1984. He survives.
Carolyn was a member of Word and Spirit Family Church in Godfrey. She enjoyed diamond art, crocheting, knitting, collecting dolls, and spending time with family and friends.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Beth (Michael) Butler of St. Charles, MO, Janice (Thomas) Coffman of Belleville, and Brian Armstrong of Edwardsville; six grandchildren, Lauryn, Dante, Noah, John, Ethan, and Xander.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Pauletta Duckworth; a brother, Larry Brown; and stepfather, Roy Brown.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Memorials are suggested to Madison County Humane Society and/or Word and Spirit Family Church in Godfrey.
