Bradley Dugger

Bradley Duane Dugger 44, of Godfrey, IL passed away unexpectedly on February 17th, 2022 at 12:38 am in Harvey, Louisiana.

Brad was born in Alton, IL at Alton Memorial Hospital on June 21st, 1977, to Richard and Deborah (Brown) Dugger. He graduated from Alton High School in 1995 and then enlisted in the Army. Brad went on to work in roofing for over twenty years, with Nolan Contracting and was most recently employed with Arms & Hammers LLC. Brad enjoyed STL Cardinals baseball, playing in pool tournaments, and always looked forward to the annual 93.7 The Bull float trip.

Brad is survived by his daughter Stephanie Ann Dugger of Godfrey, his mother and stepfather, Deborah (Brown), and David Meyer of Godfrey, a sister Emily (Dan) Granzow of St. Charles, MO, and his grandmother Helen Brown of Jerseyville. Also surviving are his stepsiblings, Jeremy (Lisa) Meyer and Kristin (Forrest) Needs. He also leaves behind the mother of his daughter and former partner of 17 years, Sara Baum, and his bonus children Marcus Baum, Ciera (John William Whitehead) Watts, and Michael Baum, grandchildren Jacie and Maverick Whitehead, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Dugger, Grandfather Kenneth Brown, and grandparents Wayne and Frances Dugger all formerly of Jerseyville.

Funeral Services will be held at First Assembly of God Church in Brighton IL on Saturday, March 5th. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm, officiated by Brad’s cousin Reverend Clyde Kallal.

Brad was well-loved in the community. His many friends will be hosting a luncheon and Celebration of Life Tribute at Runway Lounge in Bethalto immediately following services.
