Bonnie S. Rhodes, 75, of Bethalto, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
She was born in Wood River on October 30, 1949, the daughter of David Ross Johnson. She married Daniel L. Rhodes in Las Vegas on June 24, 1995. He survives.
Bonnie worked as a shift supervisor for Challenge Unlimited. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Along with her husband, Daniel, she is survived by children, Sherri (Eric) Fischer of St. Louis, MO, and Jeff Higdon of Bethalto; two grandchildren, Luke and Isabella; a brother and sister, David (Debbie) Johnson and Barbara Wilson all of Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Richard "Dickie" Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10 am until time of service at 11 am, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Kermit Barker will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
