Barbara Rae Coombs, 61, died at 8:22 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born July 4, 1951 in Litchfield, IL the daughter of Emil and Marion (Dietzel) Avanzini Jr. She was retired as a store manager in Shipman. On December 19, 2001 in Worden, IL she married Clarence “Kevin” Coombs and he survives.
Also surviving are four children; Kenneth Wayne Van Huss of Medora, Mari Ann Mulkins of Leland, N.C., Kevin Michael Coombs of Wood River and Heather Lynn Haynes and her husband Dale of Litchfield, numerous grandchildren, one great-grandchild and nieces and nephews, two sisters; Sharon Notter and her husband John of Mulberry Grove and Rosemari Bellovich of Benld.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; Nikki Lynn Avanzini and one granddaughter; Kayla Marie Mulkins.
The family will have a private celebration of life service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
