Barbara Cheek

Barbara “Barb” Ann Cheek, nee Kreitner, 75, of Swansea, IL, born February 10, 1950, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, December 22, 2025, at EverVella of Swansea.

Barb was past member of Holy Childhood of Jesus Catholic Church, of Mascoutah, IL.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph C. and Lillian M. nee McKean, Kreitner.

Barb is survived by her two sons, Thomas (Debbie) Cheek, and John (Vickie) Cheek; her daughter, Michelle (Greg) Mouser; two sisters, Diane (Marvie) Simmons and Vanessa (S. Scott) Cullen; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Covenant Worship Center of Fairview Heights or to the family in care of Vanessa Cullen. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at George Renner and Son’s Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at George Renner and Son’s Funeral Home, in Belleville, IL, with Rev. David Harrelson officiating.

According to Barbara’s wishes, cremation services were held.
