Barbara Anne Baird, 80, of Godfrey passed away at 7:44 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in Macoupin, County with her family by her side.
She was born March 16, 1942, in Alton, IL, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth J. and Bettie C. (Thole) Bauser.
Barbara married Charles Russell Baird, Jr. and he passed away July 2, 2017.
She worked in the cap operation department of Olin Corporation for 31 years, retiring in 2005.
Survivors include one son, Eric Scott Baird and his wife Luann of Alton; one granddaughter, Jennifer (Baird) Knight and husband Kyle; seven great-grandchildren, Kayla Arnold, Mikah Shepherd, Riley Shepherd, Kaydence Fields, Bryce Knight, Aubrey Knight, James Maddox; one niece, Tara (Bauser) Smith of Missouri.
Besides her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Bauser.
