Anita Sue Turner, 77, of Alton, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
She was born on January 30, 1949, in Alton, the daughter of the late Alonzo “Jim” and Lois (Colley) Turner.
Anita retired from Olin Corporation after over thirty five years working in quality control. She was an animal lover who also enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii and Ireland. Anita would spend her time reading, cooking, and spending time with her beloved family.
She is survived by her partner of over 30 years, Ron Renfrow; two children Rodney Bollini (Beth Bramley) of Brighton and Darla (James) Leady of Godfrey; three grandchildren Halie Bollini (Will Mortland), Brenden Bollini, and Aidan Leady; two great grandchildren Rylan Rowan Mortland.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.
