Alauno Myers

Alauno Van Myers, 39, passed away at 1:36 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at his home in Alton, IL.  

He was born on September 24, 1984 in Centralia, Illinois to Alonzo Garrett and Lauana Simmons.

Alauno worked in teleservices for APAC Corp. He loved spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his mother, Lauana, Alauno is survived by two sisters, Alicia Myers of Chicago, and Tikií Myers of Indianapolis, Indiana; three Brothers, Claudio Myers of Indianapolis, Indiana, Van Garrett of Moline, IL, and Almande Hill of Centralia, Illinois; an aunt, Gail Myers of Godfrey; two uncles, Simba Tayari of Chicago, and Otis Downey of Centralia; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Alauno was preceded in death by his father, Alonzo Garrett, and a brother, Albert Simmons.
