During the evening, storms become more likely as skies turn mostly cloudy. Showers and thunderstorms may bring brief downpours, and a few stronger cells could cause isolated wind issues. Rain chances continue to increase after sunset as the humid air sticks around.

Overnight, expect periods of showers and thunderstorms, some heavy at times, with rainfall becoming more widespread. The low will be around 70, and pockets of heavier rain could lead to minor flooding on roads in a few spots.

The allergy index is moderate today. Grass and mold are the main allergens, with mold levels especially elevated for sensitive groups.

Thursday looks cooler, with a high near 81 and a low around 69. Showers and thunderstorms remain in the picture, especially in the morning, with a muggy feel lingering through the day.
