At the State Tournament on Saturday, December 6th, Trimpe continued their strong play. They opened with a dominant 44–23 win over Arlington Heights Thomas, followed by a 33–22 victory over Mt. Zion in the semifinals.

The Eagles relied on tenacious defense and an up-tempo style of play, keeping fresh legs on the court through consistent substitutions. Offensively, Peyton Earle and Chloe Mills led the scoring attack, while Lily Stewart directed the offense at point guard. The defensive effort was a full team commitment, with every player contributing to the fast-paced, pressure style that has become the team’s identity.

On Thursday, Trimpe will meet Washington Central, who enters the championship game undefeated at 25–0. The matchup promises to be a high-energy battle between two outstanding teams.

Good luck to the Eagles as they compete for the state title!
