EDWARDSVILLE — Two Triad High School swimmers posted personal bests at the Sectional meet held Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at the Chuck Fruit Aquatic Center in Edwardsville.

Sophomore Kyla Calvin finished fourth overall in the 50-yard freestyle with a lifetime best time of 24.56 seconds. She also placed third in the 500-yard freestyle.

Freshman Brinley Presson recorded a personal best of 26.64 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing 10th overall. She also competed in the 100-yard backstroke, setting a lifetime best of 1:05.23 and placing seventh.

The performances highlight the continued development of Triad’s girls swim team.

"The future is bright for Triad swimming," Triad's coaching staff said.
