Tucker is a sophomore and multi-sport athlete at JCHS involved in football, wrestling, and baseball. Tucker said he’s been wrestling for 11 years, playing football for seven years, and playing baseball for four years. If he’s not playing a sport for school or for fun, Tucker typically likes to play games like Corn Hole or go fishing with friends.
After high school, Tucker has a very clear goal in mind, stating he plans “to become a welder and make lots of money.” But above all else, he said: “I want to be known as loyal and dependable, so if people need me, I can be there.”
Math Teacher and Assistant Wrestling Coach Zoe Chin described Tucker as “a rare mix of talent and humility.”
“He is hardworking, humble and kind, giving his best in everything he does both in the classroom and on the field/mat,” Chin said. “He's an awesome kid who makes everyone around him better.”
Principal Thomas Leslie added Tucker is “a true leader at JCHS.”
“He is a three sport athlete for us and is as tough as they come,” Leslie said. “He gives his all on the football/baseball field, wrestling mat, and in the classroom.”
Congratulations to Trevor Tucker for being named as a Medford Wealth Management November Student of the Month at JCHS!
