EDWARDSVILLE — Multiple fire departments responded to a significant fire at an apartment complex on the 400 block of Quince Street in Edwardsville on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 11, 2025.
The Edwardsville Fire Department, along with crews from Wood River and Glen Carbon, arrived at the scene near the 400 block of Quince Street, close to the Edwardsville Fire and Police departments, with Madison County Emergency Management.
The fire appeared to have created a hole in the roof, with visible flames and smoke. By 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, responders had a good handle on the situation.
No further details about the cause of the fire or any injuries were not yet available.
