EDWARDSVILLE — The Collinsville Lady Kahoks struggled against the Edwardsville Lady Tigers on Thursday night, falling 50-16 in a Southwestern Conference matchup at Edwardsville High School.

Edwardsville dominated early, outscoring Collinsville 20-2 in the opening quarter. The Lady Tigers continued to build their lead, holding a 31-9 advantage at halftime after outscoring Collinsville 11-7 in the second quarter.

By the end of the third, Edwardsville led 41-13. An early basket in the fourth quarter triggered a running clock as Edwardsville pulled away for the final margin.

Edwardsville was led by Journey Anderson with 17 points and Kennedy Gieseking with 11 points.

Ashley Janini led Collinsville with seven points.
