For his accomplishments, Connor Strebler is a Fischer Lumber Student of the Month for East Alton-Wood River High School.

Strebler, a senior, has participated in the school’s band program since ninth grade. He also enjoyed a long stint on the Scholastic Bowl team.

During his sophomore year, Strebler joined the e-sports program and Drama Club. He recently started attending Spirit Club meetings. He enjoys spending time with his classmates and trying out a variety of activities.

Beyond his academics and extracurriculars, Strebler gives back through various volunteer opportunities in the community. It’s important to him to serve his community, which he does with humility.

He has been named an ILMEA District 6 Musician and has maintained high honor roll status. He also received Gold Level Renaissance recognition. When he isn’t busy, he enjoys reading, playing games with his friends, and learning new instruments.

Strebler has big plans for after high school, and his teachers and loved ones know he will succeed.

“[I plan to] attend either Saint Louis University or SIUE for a degree in forensic chemistry,” he shared.
