HILLSBORO — Southwestern overcame an early deficit to defeat Hillsboro 54-44 Friday night, Jan. 9, 2026, at Hillsboro.
Southwestern trailed 15-14 after the first quarter but rallied to lead 28-25 at halftime and 34-29 after three quarters. The team outscored Hillsboro 20-15 in the final period to secure the victory.

Cason Robinson led Southwestern with 19 points, followed by Trenton Brackett with 14 and Carter Bacon with 12. Reed Campbell contributed 4 points, Carter Watson added 3, and Connor Wood finished with 2 points.
Southwestern will return to action at home against Jersey on Jan. 13, 2026, and will host Maryville Christian on Jan. 16, 2026.
