MASCOUTAH — The Belleville West Lady Maroons defeated the East St. Louis Lady Flyers 46-32 Saturday at the Mascoutah Holiday Tournament.

Belleville West took an early lead, opening the first quarter with a 12-4 advantage. The Lady Maroons extended their lead to 26-9 by halftime.
In the third quarter, Belleville West maintained a 42-26 lead heading into the final period. East St. Louis outscored Belleville West 6-4 in the fourth quarter but was unable to close the gap.
GaKhorria Green led the Lady Maroons with 12 points, followed by Ke’Vonna Baker with 10 points.
For East St. Louis, Sanders scored nine points, and Smith added eight.
