EDWARDSVILLE - Barrel & Brü Tap House at 6151 Trace Parkway Drive, Suite D, Edwardsville, announced it will close, telling customers in a statement that it made the decision “after a lot of thought and consideration.”

The tap house said it will hold a final gathering on Sunday, May 17, inviting “our regulars, friends, staff, and everyone who made this place what it was” to “come out one last time to celebrate the end of this chapter with us.” The business also urged customers to “bring your gift cards and redeem any rewards you may have.”

“We will be open next week with limited offerings and limited hours,” the statement said.

The announcement did not provide a reason for the closure.

“We want to thank you for all of the support over the years,” the statement said. “It truly meant more than you know.”
