For her hard work, Anna Sutton is a Hayner Public Library District Student of the Month for Alton High School.
Sutton, a junior, recently joined the group Calliope as their president. In this role, Sutton leads her classmates and organizes projects. Calliope is a student-run program that focuses on the creative arts, so everyone in the group enjoys engaging and exchanging ideas.
Outside of school, Sutton dances competitively. She has been dancing for 14 years and began competing eight years ago. She loves the sport and spends a lot of time focused on improving. She gives the best version of herself in every practice and competition.
When Sutton isn’t busy with her schoolwork or extracurriculars, she can be found watching horror movies and listening to music. She loves to craft and paint, additional skills she is developing through Calliope.
She is excited about her life after high school. Her teachers and loved ones wish her nothing but continued success.
“I'm planning to continue my education to become a storm chaser,” Sutton shared.
Congratulations to Anna for this recognition by Alton High School and the Hayner Public Library District!
