At 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, parents of homeschooled or private-schooled children who live within the district are invited to the in-person meeting at Alton High School. Charmain Downton, Director of Special Education, will explain the district’s resources and special education services that are available.
The district hosts this meeting every spring to help families access services. Students do not have to have an identified disability for their parents to attend.
