ALTON – The City of Alton Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce its annual Holiday Story Night with Santa, inviting families from Alton and the surrounding communities to in the Christmas season with a free, festive event.

This year's Holiday Story Night offers a special opportunity for children to meet Santa Claus, enjoy delicious treats, and experience the warmth of community spirit.
"We are so excited to host this free event that not only brings Santa to the park to meet with families from the area, but to have an interactive night as he reads holiday stories to the kids” said Sabrina Kalips, the Recreation Supervisor. "It’s a wonderful chance for families to create lasting holiday memories right here in Alton, and we encourage everyone to register for this special holiday event."
Event Highlights Include:
Visit with Santa: Children are invited to meet and chat with Santa Claus, making it a perfect opportunity for holiday photos.
Complimentary Treats: Free cookies and hot cocoa will be served to all attendees.
Festive Location: The event will be held in the Muenstermann Building at Gordon Moore Park, which will be specially decorated for the holiday season.
