Walden also participates on the Scholar Bowl team, which she enjoys. She has a lot of fun learning. All of her activities require teamwork, and Walden is known as a caring, committed team member.

It takes a lot of dedication to balance sports and academics, but Walden makes it look easy. She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average. She also works part-time at Bakers & Hale, her family’s restaurant.

When Walden isn’t busy with work, school or sports, she enjoys reading and hanging out with friends. She’s already thinking about life after graduation, and her teachers and loved ones can’t wait to see her continued success.

“I plan to go to college to become an architect or civil engineer,” she shared.

Congratulations to Addy for this recognition from Southwestern High School!
