67th Annual Great River Road Run

The 67th Annual Great River Road Run offers both a 10-mile race and a 5K, with a scenic out-and-back course along the Great River Road in Alton. The 10-mile race starts first, followed shortly by the 5K; runners, walkers, and stroller pushers are welcome.

Both races begin at 9:00 a.m. on November 28, 2026. Race-day registration and packet pickup start at 8:00 a.m. at Mac’s Time Out Lounge, 315 Belle St., Alton. A virtual race option is also available; participants can run at their own time and place and receive a shirt and medal after race day. See the event website for registration information.
